DIY Crafts // Visual Research // Thoughts So Far

So that Emily and I are on the same wavelength when it comes to what we want to include in our craft manual and what kind of feel we want it to have, we have set up a shared pinterest board so we can easily see what the other is thinking and at the same time, gather a stock of images for inspiration.

We are also planning a trip to WH Smiths to gather some editorial research as WH Smiths has an abundance of printed publications, for example, journals, manuals and books.

Stock of images we have been looking at so far:

As we want the book to have lots of idea's to make things from things we can recycle or things people already have in their homes (especially if they are already a crafty person).  This will make the craft idea's more accessible to those who are on a budget and those with a care for the environment.

We have compiled a list of what crafts we would like to have in the craft manual and divided them equally between us, and a few we shall carry out together.

List of Craft Idea's
