Initially I have been attempting some hand rendered typography which I have already spoken about in the visual research board.  Below are a few initial idea's.

To try and digitalize these once again, I have used the wacom tablet, a few examples of what digitalized versions look like:

The idea's below have more of a nautical theme going on.  I think it is important to have the octopus in the logo.
