Save the Bees // Evaluation

Evaluation:

The Save the Bees Brief is one which I had been thinking about since the summer, as it is a very current issue, I wanted to do my bit to help the cause.  My concept was to try and raise awareness of the cause while also informing people of they can help and do their part at home in their own gardens.  Design wise, I thoroughly enjoyed this brief because it gave me a chance to produce quite a bit of illustration, while it also being something I cared deeply about.  Researching for this brief was also very interesting.  I would have loved to have held a stall with everything I had made printed off in bulk and free to hand out to the public but unfortunately I just did not have the funds to do this.  I still intend to get contacting people and try and find out whether I can get any funding for this little project of mine to make it really happen on a larger scale.  I feel like I learned a lot from this brief and it helped me on my was to deciding that I would quite like to do more environmental work in the future, using my skills as a designer to make small and big differences to our world.
