As the brief is quite broad and Lisa would like people to submit work created in different mediums I feel like I have almost free reign over what I would like to submit.  I thought a good starting point would be to go to the library and see if I could find any textiley books or a book about pastel colours (as I feel that I struggle with colours).

I also got this book to look at which is devoted to wall coverings which I thought ties in well with the brief as our submissions may be applied to textiled, wallpapers, wall hanging, accessories.

It was good to look at some alternative wall paper styles as often in shops wallpaper is very limited to patterns like flowers or stripes for example.  These though are not your average designs:

This design is more traditional but the bold colours make it look more modern or slightly 60s?
