Upcylicg Zine // Big Decision

Emily and I have decided not to rush the Upcycling Zine by finishing it off before we feel that it is really at it's best.  After completing the other 2 zines which we were really happy with, we did not want to jeopardise the quality of the third Zine of the series.

We have also discussed carrying on the Zines in the future, after we finish college as it is something which we have really enjoyed working on together.  Without the pressures of finishing the third year we feel like we will be able to finish the third zine to a better standard and carry on the collection by producing zines for all the other themes which we would love to explore in the future.

We intend to present the final zine of the series by showing all of the photography we have so far and the content in the form of quotes, how to's and other information alongside the illustrations intended for that specific zine.

The beauty of upcycling is the re-using of old materials to make something new and lovely.  Even the smallest of alterations can make give something a new lease of life.

Upcycled Jars, all you need is string and double sided sticky tape.  These images have not yet been edited.

Illustration of lampshades to go along with the upcycled lampshades

The weaving of the chair which I have not yet finished but some of these pictures will work well for the zine, as it shows the process.
