Jewellery Design // Evalution

Evaluation:

The jewellery design brief I wrote for myself towards the end of the term.  It was always something that I wanted to do throughout the year.  This craft based brief enabled me to show my making skills and this should hopefully be a piece to put into my portfolio.  The craft based briefs that I have completed this year should also be a good starting point for the craft stall I intend to focus on more throughout summer.  This brief especially is a good starting point and I intend to create more jewellery like these designs to sell at craft fairs and hopefully festivals.  The brief was quite a quick one but I do not feel that I compromised anything and am happy with the packaging and have received some encouraging feedback surrounding this brief.  I intend to spend a lot more time on this throughout summer and really get my jewellery making up to scratch.  It would have been good if I could have photographed this brief in context, at a stall or in a shop because I feel that my bedroom and the photography studio – neither of them do the range justice.  Using the laser cutter for the packaging really helped it to look more professional.
