Event Deco // Creating the Deco

Festival and Event Decoration is something which I really want to get into doing more of after college.  Working for the Eden Festival as part of the art & deco team last year helped to spur this on.  

For the Wild Out West Festival aswell, myself and some friends will be in charge of the decor for this event, so I thought that doing this project now while at university will help launch me into it more come summer time.  

The brief started out as a collaboration, but we decided to work separately on our festival briefs due to the difference in our courses and the requirements etc.  We do intend to collaborate in the future however and we hope that one day this could be a real business.

Here are some images of the decor I have made being created.  This is more of an installation piece that is to be placed hanging in the tree's at Wild Out West Festival.

This brief is really fun for me because it combines three of my favourite things - Craft, Festivals & Design.
